This convenient 16-gauge steel security console has 2 compartments, a separate compartment for mounting a stereo, CB Radio, or other electronic equipment, and a lockable rear storage space lined with a rubber floor mat.
The spacious rear compartment accommodates a CD changer, tools, and other valuables..

Now the best secured area in my Jeep

I bought this console for a Jeep Wrangler to replace the console which had been purchased by a previous owner. Because of the price, I decided to go ahead and pay someone to properly install it. This is a beast! It provides a very secure area to house a nice stereo which doesn't require a removable face, and it has the same locking system that is on the secure glove box, which I also have. Nice padded top as well. Initially I thought the black color would not blend in with the gray and charcoal interior of this vehicle, but it looks great. This is the best money you could spend if you have an older Wrangler that can't be adequately secured. No security issues now! A beast!
