Made from the same G.E.A.R. Seat Cover material, the overhead consoles are manufactured from 600 denier polyester with a PVC liner. They are also completely UV stable. Available in four colors.

finally a decent product from smittybuilt!

i picked up one of these in black for my 06 rubi lj and i really like it! great place to store tire deflators, flash lights, first aid kits, cameras, and maps.

the pouches seem to be pretty good quality, not mil-spec but good enough to hold my junk in the jeep. you can also add other molle pouches if you would like.

my only complaint is the pouches sag alittle when fully loaded but it's not a deal breaker.

i plan on picking up the rear door rack to hold my tow strap and recovery gear.

Best item i Have for my jeep Period.

Its a little interesting to install and the first time i ordered it amazon shipped me the wrong one (it was for a different model jeep). But after figuring things out this product is a must.

- Allowed Me to mount my Cobra Radio above my line of sight instead of the dash were it would have obstructed view.

- Molle system is very familiar for me and i have lots of pouches and tools/knives i can store overhead

- If i need to remove the items i can unstrap it using four velcro straps and put them all away. A great idea for lets say a top down visit to an area were i might leave the jeep unattended and some sticky handed people come strolling by.

-last is my gripe. Installing it requires a little bit of work not excessive but there is a small plate with a thin metal handle that is suppose to be removed after the plate is in position. However its not that easy and the handle is still sticking out of my ceiling but NBD.

If you have a JK (2007-on) you don't need this one.

I ordered this product, and like one of the other reviewers, I was sent the TJ model (1997-2006). JK (2007-on) owners need the the 5666001. Once I get that one, I'll do a review with photos on the other page. I just wanted to let other people know that this particular one is for TJ's. I included a link to the JK unit.
