These are pretty much the best out there. Near optical grade plastic. not to be confused with the absolutely horrible optical quality of the crappy "glare busters" product. Had two of those that are currently depreciating my trash can.......

So Far So Good

The last extender I had was a cheap piece of junk that not only warped from the summer heat but was too "long". Keep that in mind when choosing this amber extender and this company's gray extender Polarized Car Visor 3 5 x 14 Gray. I drive a small sedan and my previous extender was about 4 inches long (from the end of the car's visor) which was WAY too long and it was practically resting on the steering wheel. If you have a smaller car, then I would recommend getting the amber colored visor. If you drive a truck or SUV, you could use either, depending on your preference. I would also recommend measuring the height of your car's visor(s). The amber visor is 2 1/2 inches from the end of your car visor and the grey extender adds about 3 1/2 inches. There is barely any slack for the fastener for my car but if you have very narrow visors, I can see that maybe a problem unless you trim the fastener. I'm not sure why each size is not offered for both colors (I would've loved a 2 1/2 gray visor version). Be that as it may, it's been working like a charm. Sight line very clear (lens is not too light or too dark). A bit on the pricy side but considering I started off with a cheap and cheaply made piece of junk, I currently have no other complaints. I drive East going to work and West driving home and this visor has helped a lot. We'll see how this holds up to this summer's car heat.

Expected More

First let me say that you are purchasing one visor not a set. The polarized idea is ok and does help with the sunlight. The visor is easy to put on and stays in place. However, the quality of the construction of straps was poor. One strap was way too long, so the excess was flapping in the breeze. The other shorter strap was not glued on correctly and is now coming off the visor after a short time in the heat of the sun. I will have to try to reglue it. For the cost of this item and especially since I also had to pay for shipping, I expected better. I did not contact the company to send it back for a replacement.
