Amazing Organizer

When I opened the box, I did not find the item I expected, I expected this case to look more like a photo album bigger, taller. I apparently did not read the measurements of the Case. Much to my surprise, it is way better and much more sturdy. I bought 2 DVD albums, but I put CD's in them. My daughter's CD's(music, audio books,PC games)were taking up 13.5 inches on one of my brand new built-in bookcase shelves. In comes these nifty little cases (6.5 x 2.5)and Voila', now only 5 inches are occupied with her stuff. What is really neat and surprising is that the CD covers also fit in the sideway pockets, yes sideways, so the CD's can't fall out. Did I mention the hard, shiny(wipeable)magnetcally closing features?All are perks. This is definately a space-saving organizing tool. I am sure I will stock up on these for my use and for gift-giving.

It's simple, and looks good.

I've had it for a few weeks now and I like it. I don't use CDs much, but to store media that does not get a lot of use, it's great.

I can't yet attest for durability, but it seems it'll hold out ok for storing. And of course, right as I finish writing that, the magnets came out of their socket when I opened the case. I will try gluing them and see what happens. That just knocked off a star off the rating. Now I have doubts about it's durability, specially under heavy use.

As some reviewers have said, the sleeves sag from the weight because the case does not have a bottom, however I'm not concerned about it. It's aways sitting on a flat surface.

All in all, above average looking CD case. I like it.

I received 2 and they were both broken out of the box.

I'll admit, had I received one of these that worked I'd probably be quite happy with it. But unfortunately I am leaving the country tomorrow, I needed a new CD case, this one fit the bill, but I received 2 (I exchanged the first one and recieved a new one today) and both of them had loose magnets that would constantly get pulled out of their designated spots and stick to the other side. This obviously completely defeated the purpose of having a magnetic latch since nothing was holding the device closed anymore. I considered using gorilla glue to fix it, and that might work, but to buy a product and expect to do something like that is stupid.
I will compliment how sturdy the case feels though and if it would just stay closed I'm sure it would have kept my cd collection very safe. So just be warned when you order this, you might have to exchange it a few times to get one that works well, so don't order this product if you're under a time limit.
