Lifesaver

I used to have this exact mobile office! (I'm now looking for one that has an iPad attachment when I saw this product.)

If you have file folders and papers all over your car, this is a lifesaver. If I didn't stash a handful of rubber bands with me, my stacks of file folders would slide around and out of place as I drove and by the time I got somewhere, documents would have fallen out of their correct folders, or someone would open the back door and a gust of wind would send some papers flying... it was a joke. The only other option was to carry around a big laptop bag, but that just never worked for various reasons.

I had been balancing my clipboard on my knee and my transmision lever for some time. I had been looking at these "AutoDesk" units. Finally decided to get one. It sure is useful for my paperwork while in the car. I'm getting a lot of good out of it.
